Stonemason's Barn (Couples retreat)
Walk through a pretty laurel archway, and discover a 'midsummer night's dream', a wonderful 'cachette', your private garden and Stonemason’s Barn.
Once used as an animal store, the stone Barn has now been renovated by a local stonemason. It's full of quirky features and has some unusual stone decorations on the outside too. The Barn sleeps 2 adults, upstairs and in a large comfortable bedroom and the Barn is for Over 18's only.
It is a perfect little hideaway with a rustic, cosy feel and lots of character!
Stonemason's Barn has it's own garden and patio, with garden furniture for al fresco dining . There is also a separate 'bistro' spot, beyond the French doors from the living room and beneath the grapevine crawling across the Barn's frontage, where you can enjoy a coffee (or a Pineau!) with a view towards the pool and the terrace. The Barn also has it's own designated parking space, and access to the shared swimming pool and grounds.
Downstairs, the rustic kitchen has everything you will need with a gas oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine and microwave. There is also a large shower room and loo. The cosy lounge/diner has a wood burning stove, dining table for four people and from here the French doors open to enjoy the warm, summer evenings.
You can relax and watch a movie using the unlimited WiFi, curl up with a book from our collection, listen to your favourite music by simply connecting to a tall Bluetooth tower in the living room, or re-enact the Battle of Hastings with William & Harold on the chess board!!.
Upstairs you will find a very large, beamed bedroom with skylight and French doors opening to a Juliet balcony. There is a double bed and plenty of clothes storage.
There is a wonderful baguette 'distributeur' just a few hundred yards down the road - these fab new machines are loaded with fresh bread each day. For just 1€, your fresh loaf is just a few hundred yards away.
All sockets are 2-pin European, so do bring adaptors if required.
Unfortunately, we are not able to accept pets. Smoking is strictly not permitted anywhere on site, or within our boundary. Guests are Over 18 only.
